Keith: Sorry we missed each other in Beulah in August. I got to have some great coffee and some wonderful pastry. Because of something you said in our phone conversation, I had a feeling that you might have your eyes on some new horizons. Later that same day I visited the MLUI offices in Traverse and had a nice conversation Jim Lively about the TC work on new planning. I will follow you work at The Circle of Blue and look for your by-lines at MLUI. When you wrote the artcle this year about Circle of Blue, I went to their website and was excited by their concept of looking at the challenges to our fresh water resources. I will look forward to hearing or reading about your new and old interests. I assume that you are staying in the Crystal Lake area. Be well. Dave Sturges

Your kind remarks are much appreciated. The Institute is cruising along. And I’m heading to New York tomorrow to attend the Clinton Global Initiative, which Circle of Blue was invited to attend. Check out the web site at http://www.circleofblue.org for a new video and news release that does a very good job of putting the project in context. All this work was done in house. Very cool stuff. Although I am sure you will always be with the ‘tute in some capacity, I am also sure you’re leadership and vision will be greatly missed on a daily basis. It’s got to be hard to walk away from something you’ve been so intimate with for all those years. Just wanted to say I hope your next venture is as successful as your last. Cheers-
