Thanks for the insight. I recently read Paul&#039;s new book and saw in it the best reporting I&#039;ve seen on the organic ground up development of public interest organizations globally. In my work in the United States, having the opportunity to report on these issues in 20 or so states a year, I see this rising interest everywhere. Here at the Clinton Global Initiative, it&#039;s clear that strength is by no means confined to the U.S. Best, Keith</description>

		<description>In the past two years, Paul Hawken has been working on WiserEarth.org, a directory of over 100,000 ngos and nonprofit orgs working on social justice and the environment.  I highly recommend checking it out. One of the goals of the site is to support this convergence of the environmental and the social, by classifying these organizations and highlighting the many issues people are focusing on such as:  philanthropy, green building, responsible business practices and refugees</description>
